What is StockChallenges?
A virtual-portfolio competition experience where participants make investing decisions under challenge-specific rules, compare results and learn from the process.
Is StockChallenges real-money trading?
No. The portfolios shown here are virtual competition portfolios. StockChallenges does not place brokerage trades for you.
How many challenge experiences are on the site?
The current staging experience has the 2026 Stock Challenge, Double 20 Times to $1 Billion, and the completed 2025 Stock Challenge Recap.
Are all three challenges the same?
No. They have different starting values, objectives, end conditions and status. That is why the rebuilt site now asks which challenge you mean before showing rules, how-it-works content or a leaderboard.
What are the confirmed 2026 Stock Challenge rules?
$1,000,000 starting virtual portfolio, one buy and one sell per week, highest current portfolio value wins, and the challenge is scheduled to end December 31, 2026.
What are the confirmed Double 20 rules?
$1,000 starting virtual portfolio, one buy and one sell per week, with the objective of completing twenty doubles and reaching $1 billion+.
Can I join the 2025 recap?
No. It is a completed challenge archive/recap.
How do I join a challenge?
Create an SC3 account, choose an eligible live challenge, understand its rules, and use the challenge joining flow.
Why do I need an account?
An account is needed to associate you with challenge memberships, personal command-center data, weekly trade status and persistent activity.
Why did the old site send me to WordPress login?
That was a temporary bridge to the old website identity system. The rebuilt staging site replaces that public experience with Supabase-based SC3 login and signup.
What can I see on a leaderboard?
The challenge-specific leaderboard shows rank, player, portfolio value, performance, cash and portfolio access. The command center goes further with holdings and head-to-head comparison.
Why do I have to choose a leaderboard first?
Because each challenge has a different field and objective. The site should not guess which competition you want to inspect.
Can I see what other players own?
Yes. The rebuild is designed around expandable player portfolios so participants can understand what is driving the race.
How many buys and sells do I get?
For the two live featured challenges, the confirmed limit is one buy and one sell per week.
When do weekly trades reset?
The final authoritative reset timestamp still needs to be encoded in the server-side challenge rules. The current staging calculation uses a Monday–Sunday calendar week and labels that assumption.
Can I skip a trade?
Yes. A weekly limit is a maximum, not a requirement to act. Waiting can be a valid challenge decision.
Where should I research a stock?
Use StockCapitalization for stock research. The rebuilt command center links holdings directly into StockCapitalization.
Where should I learn investing concepts?
Use StockConfidence for investing education and skill-building.
What is MySC3?
MySC3 is the front door to the connected SC3 network, helping users move among Learn, Research and Compete.
Does one SC3 account work everywhere yet?
StockChallenges is now being connected to the shared Supabase SC3 identity. The other SC3 properties still need to be wired to the same authentication authority before cross-site single sign-on is complete.
What if I forget my password?
Use Reset Password on the StockChallenges login page. The reset email is handled through the SC3/Supabase authentication system.
Are there paid plans?
The staging design defines Explore, Competitor and SC3 Pro. Explore is free. Paid prices are not yet approved and paid checkout is not active.
Will I be charged when I create an account?
No. The current staging account flow does not collect payment information or charge users.
Is this financial advice?
No. StockChallenges is an education and skill-based competition experience, not personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
How current is the competition data?
The portfolio and standings data currently wired into the staging command center is the September 8, 2026 snapshot previously supplied for this project.
